A lot of people seem to be very quick to say, “We’re not all like that” without stopping to think that perhaps the ones that are “like that” have taken over the conversation.
Extremists have taken control of my religion. They torment us and they’ve destroyed our cultures and traditions.
We claim we’re all not like that, but when it matters we stay silent.
Women have their faces burnt with acid, children are killed on their way to school and boys are brainwashed into believing lies.
Yet, we stay silent.
Who controls the conversation? Who speaks?
