This sums up the purpose of my blog;
it is the sum of my existence - in every way.
About Me:
I’m a 19 year old guy who has a lot of passion for a lot of things. I used to just reblog stuff I liked, but then my friends and I started a blog during my first university year (which is currently coming to an end), and I discovered that I really liked to blog. The previously mentioned blog was a happy-go fun blog about our little group’s joint adventures, but more often than not, I found myself wanting to write about more personal things and thus the blogger in me was awakened.
So anyways, feel free to roam around and ask me any questions / comment in my ask box.

What Religon Do I Follow?
I like to call myself a progressive Muslim. I don’t believe in the old ways steeped in culture, I instead seek to draw conclusions from the true roots of Islam, the very beginning. I also like to take a contemporary twist to things (explained in detail here), as this world is literally centuries different than the one referred to in the holy book. Historically, my ancestors were probably Hindu, until roughly 300 years ago. I believe in evolution (an explanation found here), I also back LGBT rights, the right to choose abortion, and well pretty much anything democratic and/or socialistic. Thus, I’m put at odds with conservatives and traditionalists.
Things I Believe In:
Justice: no matter who it puts me against or who it puts me with.
Equality: in all its shapes and forms. I believe that we are all different, but appreciating our differences will take us further then dividing and despising/hating will.
Non-violence: I strongly believe in this modern age we can do more with words than anything. However, I do believe some situations, for the defense of ourselves and our loved ones, violence must be responded to. There is, though, a fine line between self-defense and aggression/oppression.
Where Am I From?
Well, it’s quite complicated.
I associate most with South Asia, specifically Pakistan. But since Pakistan didn’t exist some 65 years ago and since both my mom and dad’s side are classified as “Muhajr” (translated to: refugee or migrant), my family isn’t ethnically from Pakistan, rather India. My father’s side is from Delhi. On my mother’s side, her father’s family comes from Aligarh, whereas her mother’s comes from Agra. If you push back enough, my family from both sides originates from the famed Rajput, inhabitee’s of Rajasthan, “the Land of Kings”. Rajputs claim decent from four major mythological dynasties, which are further divided into clans. I’ll speak more about this in another post (I might as well place my research about myself somewhere xD) but for now, if you want to know: I belong to the Meo clan from Mewat whom claim descent from the lunar dynasty of ancient India, Chandravansh.
Now comes the most complicated part…
Things I Dislike:
I’m allergic to racists or sexists. It’s quite lethal actually, I can die.
Hedonist aren’t that high up in my love meter either, nor pessimists.
I find passive people quite boring as well; with such a lively world, why waste life remaining indifferent to the happenings around you.
